When people with a similar vision rally together, there’s power and potential for positive change. As a Rotarian, you will be one of many People of Action, people who are driven by a desire to create opportunities, strengthen our communities, and find solutions to the challenges that affect people around the world.
When you become a member of Rotary, you join your voice and abilities with others. Together, Rotary tackles projects of every scale and inspires fellow Rotarians, friends, neighbors, and partners to share their vision, exchange ideas for lasting solutions, and take action to bring those ideas to life.
In addition to the array of global challenges Rotary tackles, the Dennison Rotary Club is very active in the local community, taking steps to do what we can to make a difference for our friends and neighbors.
The Blood Profile provides individuals with an affordable way to monitor their health by offering more than 50 blood tests at a cost of $50.00. Additional tests are available at reasonable prices so that people can monitor for other common health concerns, including prostate cancer, thyroid issues, blood sugar and diabetes, mineral and vitamin deficiencies or excess, blood protein levels, and colon cancer. The blood profile is held twice annually, in April and October, at Eastport Avenue Primary School in Uhrichsville. Learn More »
Display your patriotism by flying the U.S. Flag in your yard on our six flag-waving holidays (Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, Labor Day through Patriots Day, and Veterans Day). Rotary places and removes flags in each participant’s yard before and after each holiday for an annual fee of just $30.00. This service is renewable annually.
Honor our current and former U.S. veterans serving in all branches of the military by creating a banner in their honor. Rotary displays these banners on utility poles in both Dennison and Uhrichsville from Memorial Day to Veterans Day. Each banner may be renewed annually and is subject to the availability of allotted poles. The first year costs $170 to cover the banner and mount, with a renewal fee of $65 each additional year.
